How Your Electrical System Works
When your home was built, the electrical system was designed for a certain level of electrical usage.
Over the years, the level of electrical usage in a home tends to grow.
For example, unused space may have been converted into an office with a computer, fax machine or copy machine now drawing on the electrical system.
Or, perhaps a new laundry room has been added with new electrical appliances. As we add such things as outdoor lighting, spas or entertainment centers, the electrical usage in the home can begin to tax the limits of its electrical system, causing fuses to "blow" or breakers to "trip" and possibly creating a fire hazard.
Your service panel is the ‘command center’ for all the electricity coming into your home.
If your electrical power is insufficient for your needs, call Mr. Electric for an evaluation.
